Date: Tuesday 12 November
Time: 9am – 5pm
Mental Fitness taps into four factors labelled ‘strength’, ‘endurance’, ‘flexibility’ and ‘effort’ which support a commonly understood physical fitness analogy. This program takes the form of a facilitated conversation. Participants explore the concept of Mental Fitness as a number of developable capacities linked with resilience, optimism, hope, self-esteem and emotional intelligence. After an intuitive exploration of resilience, several research validated frameworks are unpacked such as mindfulness and positive psychology. The discussed skills developed lead to strategies for developing mental fitness.
A key theme is that mentally fit teams have a culture which is able to not only weather change but to thrive throughout. There is a focus on self-care and personalising strategies for remaining mentally fit as well as supporting their colleagues to do likewise. Mental Fitness is ‘a state of fitness or a reservoir of personal resources that can be called upon when needed’.
PM: Work-Life Balance - Life to the Full
Thriving, not just surviving, in work and life.
“If you don’t have dreams, and planned goals to reach those dreams, then you’ll never move beyond where you are now.”
Life was meant to be an adventure, but many of us end up living in default mode. The Life to the Full workshop is designed to help participants to articulate where you are going and why and then to help you begin to write down some dreams and turn them into goals. The framework intentionally seeks to deal with a whole of life approach, rather than purely a career approach. The benefits in the workplace are enormous as people develop a whole of life approach rather than a compartmentalised approach.
This workshop includes:
- Catering & refreshments
- Free on-site parking
- Custom workbook
- Small group coaching
- Interactive activities
- Knowledge that will benefit for years to come
