Time: 9am – 5pm
‘Change’, it is said, ‘is a constant’ and leadership, by its nature, is about ‘leading’ people into the unknown. Leading change is a key leadership competency. Yet change is a significant stressor in the workplace as people typically cling to their comfort zone and what they already know. This workshop unpacks the psychology of why people resist change and then builds a number of strategies and mechanisms to help staff overcome their resistance to change. Getting change right in the first place is a major challenge that leaders face as they design change, make decisions and ‘sell’ change.
PM: Building Great Teams – Team Charter Design
This workshop begins by developing awareness about how culture forms and encouraging participants to take greater responsibility for their behaviours and their response to others’ behaviours. Participants engage in a reflection about the stated organisational values and the ‘experienced culture’. A key outcome is to clarify an agreed Team Charter which will support an action plan for ‘calling out’ exceptional behaviours – both positive and negative.
The broad outcome is to intentionally shape a culture that encourages employee behaviours and to establish a mechanism that will enable this dynamic to thrive.
This workshop includes:
